After a day out exploring the Yorkshire Dales, revive yourself in the fantastic drench shower. Then light the wood burner to cast a cozy glow over the kitchen, living, and dining spaces as you enjoy a glass of something special. Delight in pretty parkland views and the season’s colours from your kitchen table or bed.

The cottage is named after the groom who would sleep above his horse’s accommodation in the stables below. Today, Groom’s Rooms Cottage is not a humble groom’s abode. Instead, it’s a luxury Yorkshire retreat graced with light oak floors and hand-picked furnishings.

There are two smart TVs so that you can enjoy your favourite films if you love a film night.
You can also revel in unlimited hot water in the shower and underfloor bathroom heating. This is delivered by our state-of-the-art eco-friendly wood chip boiler.
On your doorstep
Whether you’re a walking enthusiasts or cyclists the Yorkshire Dales has stunning landscapes and interesting routes.
We also have 25 acres of private ancient parkland for you to explore. Stroll down the drive and follow the stream, home to egrets and kingfishers. Further up the dale are some impressive walking routes, just a short drive away.
If you just want to relax outdoors then take to your own seating area next to the hot tub. It’s the perfect place to raise a sunset toast to each other.
